Description:
Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Candlesticks and Two Vases, 19th C, comprising a pair of 10 in. vases with scalloped rims and gilt fu dog and dragon handles, and a pair of 7 1/2 in. candlesticks, all decorated with flowers, birds, butterflies and figural scenes. Size of candlesticks: 7 1/4 in. x 4 in.
Measurements: Height: of vases 10 in. x Width: 4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, all with general wear, minor rubbing and losses to gilt, particularly along rims, some small areas of loss to enamel decoration, glaze blemishes, one candlestick with broken and repaired top rim, the other with firing loss to bottom edge, likely inherent to production, the vases with some small chips to glaze on underside of top rim, and small firing cracks on gilt fu dogs and dragons.
