Description:
Portuguese Triptych, with central oil on canvas panel (14 1/2 in. x 10 3/4 in.) depicting Christ framed by two oil on board (11 1/4 in. x 7 1/4 in.) panels depicting winged figures, with 'Williams Antiques' label on verso, within a carved wood frame.Measurements: Overall Height: 23 in. x Width: 37 7/8 in. x Depth: 2 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, in need of cleaning, panels likely associated, possible hole upper left quadrant of central panel, wear and losses to paint along edges of right panel, craquelure to all, central panel with areas of inpainting, particularly in background and robe, some areas of inpainting in right panel, old marks and scratches to wood frame.
