(Popish Plot) TRYALS, Contemporary-Bound Edition of 7 Separate Folio Trials, 1680s, separately printed, folio, comprising AN EXACT ACCOUNT OF THE TRIAL BETWEEN SIR WILLIAM PRITCHARD, KT., AND THOMAS PAPILLON, ESQ: DEFENDANT (London, 1689); THE TRYALS OF HENRY CORNISH, ESQ (London, 1685); THE TRYALS, CONVICTIONS, AND SENTENCE OF TITUS OATES BEFORE THE RIGHT HONOURABLE GEORGE LORD JEFFREYS (London, 1685); DIE SABBATI 9 MAIJ, ANNO DOMINI, 1685 IN BANCO REGIS (London, n.d.), concerns the trial of Titus Oates on the charge of perjury; THE TRYAL OF HENRY BARON OF DELAMERE (London, 1686); THE TRUE NARRATIVE OF ALL THE PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE LORD BISHOP OF LONDON IN THE COUNCIL-CHAMBER AT WHITE-HALL (London, 1689); and THE PROCEEDINGS AND TRYAL IN THE CASE OF WILLIAM LORD ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY (WITH SIX OTHER BISHOPS) (London, 1689), the last with engraved frontispiece with portraits of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the six other bishops.

Condition:

Worn condition, toning throughout, a few leaves with small tears in margins, contemporary calf, joints cracked, see photos.
