Description:
Peter Briggs (British, b. 1950), Forme & Infini, 1985, copper, unsigned, the S-form top attached to a tripod base.Peter Briggs was born in Gillingham, Great Britain in 1950. He studied at the Hornsey College of Art and later settled in France in 1973. Briggs taught art at the Dijon School of Fine Arts, at the Rennes School, and is currently teaching at the Tours School of Fine Arts. In 2002 he established a studio in Delhi to experiment with new techniques. His sculptures are inspired by forms he sees in nature. (Frac-centre.fr)
