Description:Pair of Royal Vienna Style Red and Green Porcelain Lidded Urns, 19th Century, each urn with red, green, cream and gilt decorated surface, the fronts decorated with scene of a figure in red cloak and armor standing before a classical nude female figure, cherubs holding a shield and a reclining male with oar in the foreground, one base with vignette of Hermes another classical figure and cherubs, the other base with scene with three classically dressed figures, one in robes and armor, and cherubs. The bases stamped with blue beehive mark and numbered 597 V/1540.
Measurements: Height: overall 12 in. x Width: 5 in. x Depth: 4 in.
Condition:Overall good condition, one lid broken and repaired, the other with repaired break to finial, wear to gilt, particularly on lids and handles, urns mounted to bases.
