Pair of Tempera and Gilt Paintings on Court Documents, c. 1920's, each depicting two figures in a landscape with trees and flowers, painted on the back of a typed motor accident claim petition with 'Courtfee Stamp, Jaipur Government' stamp above paintings. Size of image with seated figures: 6 1/8 in. x 4 1/8 in. Size of image with standing figures: 6 1/2 in. 4 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 13 1/2 in. x Width: 8 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, discoloration and stains to paper, wear and small creases to edges, losses and pinholes in top right quadrants on both, central horizontal crease, paintings themselves appear in good condition.
