Pair of French Louis XVI Style Painted Composition and Wood Wall Panels, each rectangular panel depicting a flaming torch, arrows and a floral crown, within a beaded floral surround with floral swags, the upper corners with roundels, all within a stripped pine frame.Measurements: Height: 42 1/2 in. x Width: 26 in.
Condition:
Poor condition with losses throughout, shrinkage cracks and lifting to wood backs, simulated to appear of older manufacture.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction.
