Old City Fortress, Possibly Durer, inscribed "Old City Fortress with Circular Walls and Towers" and "Redesign of The Old Fortress to the New One by Albrecht Durer, 1527," marked "Table 1" upper right, published in Berlin, label on back with title and "from a folio formerly in the library of General John Watts De-Peyster," floating in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 20 7/8 in. x 23 5/8 in.

Measurements: Height: sheet size 16 1/4 in. x Width: 19 1/2 in.

Condition:

Overall fair condition, paper heavily toned and foxed, wear and small losses and some tears to edges, central vertical crease from folding, some dampstaining upper left quadrant, not viewed out of frame.
