Description:

Mark Kelvin Horton (SC, b. 1960), Night Roost, Oil on Board, signed lower left with 'Bernie Horton Originals Gallery' label on verso, depicting a white Egret in a tree with Spanish moss, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 33 1/2 in. x 29 1/2 in.

Mark Kelvin Horton was born and raised in North Carolina and studied art at the East Carolina University School of Art. After graduating in 1983, Horton moved to New York where he worked as an artistic director and designer. In 2001 he moved back to the South and settled in Charleston, SC where he has dedicated himself to painting full-time. Horton's work documents the beautiful effects of weather and light on the landscape.

Measurements: Height: by sight 23 3/8 in. x Width: 19 1/2 in.

Condition:

Good condition, light wear to frame.
