Description:
Mark Kelvin Horton (SC, b. 1960), Marsh Landscape, Oil on Board, signed lower right, depicting a marsh scenes with bird, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 12 1/2 in. x 14 5/8 in.Mark Kelvin Horton was born and raised in North Carolina and studied art at the East Carolina University School of Art. After graduating in 1983, Horton moved to New York where he worked as an artistic director and designer. In 2001 he moved back to the South and settled in Charleston, SC where he has dedicated himself to painting full-time. Horton's work documents the beautiful effects of weather and light on the landscape.
