Mark Catesby Mark Catesby (GA/UK, 1683-1749), The White Curlew and The Brown Curlew, Hand-Colored Engravings, the White Curlew numbered 'T. 82' and the Brown Curlew numbered 'T. 83,' with Latin titles lower right of plate, both with associated copied page of text on verso and with W. Graham Arader III label on frame and Americana Collection Property of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette labels on frames, both matted and in wood frames. Frame size: 26 7/8 in. x 22 5/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 15 1/4 in. x Width: 11 3/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, light foxing, paper slightly wavy in frame, mild toning, not viewed out of frames.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
