Mark Catesby, (British, 1679-1749), Plate 62, Bird and Branch, Hand Colored Engraving, initialed lower right, marked 'T. 62' upper right, captioned 'Parus & c' and 'Acer & c' bottom edge, depicting a yellow throated creeper on a red flowering maple branch, with label 'late-3rd edition, watermark: J. Ruse, 1800' and associated page from 'Histoire Naturelle de La Caroline, de La Floride, et Des Isles de Bahama' on verso, matted and framed. Frame size: 26 3/4 in. x 21 7/8 in.
