Manfred Kuhnert (California, b. 1931), Polo, Watercolor, signed lower left, depicting polo players on horses, with 'Amelia Art & Frame, Femandina Beach, FL' label on verso, matted and framed. Frame size: 38 in. x 48 in.

Manfred H. Kuhnert was born in 1931 outside the city of Dresden. His mother, Baroness Gertrud Kob Von Urbensteadt was an accomplished artist and graduate of the prestigious Dresden Academy of Fine Art. Kuhnert developed his passion for art from his mother, and followed in her footsteps, also studying at the Dresden Academy of Fine Art. Since 1963 he has had a gallery in Laguna Beach, where he lives and works, creating vivid depictions of the California Coast and the beauty of The Pacific Ocean. (AskArt.com)
