Description:
Louis XV Style Trumeau Mirror, painted and parcil gilt composition and wood frame with shaped oil on canvas panel of courting couple with lovebirds.Measurements: Height: 98 1/2 in. x Width: 44 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, canvas panel slightly loose on stretcher, with small areas of inpainting throughout, the frame with losses to floral elements, wear to edges, age crack to cartouche of center cresting, base with age cracks and repair bottom right corner.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
