Description:
Leonetto Cappiello (French, 1875-1942), Nitrolian, Lithograph Poster, signed and dated 1929 lower right, depicting a man painting a staircase red as a woman walks down it, with the text 'Nitrolian, sec Aussitot Peint' top edge, and printed 'Les Vouvelles Affiches Cappiello, 32 Rue Beaujon Paris, Devambez, Socte. Anme.' left edge, in a painted wood framed. Frame size: 68 in. x 51 1/2 in.
Measurements: Height: by sight 62 in. x Width: 46 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, faint creases to paper in edges, repaired tear from top edge through 'R' and into red steps, repaired tear bottom edge into first step, small repair lower right corner, not viewed out of frame.
