Description:
Large Eider Hen Decoy, Maine and Another, comprising a carved and painted wood decoy with typed label 'A wonderful Eider Hen from central Maine coast, old paint appear original coat, Superb lines. Glass eyes. Late 1920's -Early 30's', together with another carved and painted white and black duck decoy, unmarked.Measurements: Height: of Eider decoy 9 3/4 in. x Width: 18 1/2 in. x Depth: 7 in.
Condition:
Overall good vintage condition, Eider decoy with crack to neck, chip to beak, wear to edges, the other decoy with age crack along back, wear to top of beak, both with general wear to painted surface, general old marks and scratches to wood.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. PHOTOS MAY ALSO ACT AS A CONDITION REPORT. Please review all photos closely prior to bidding. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction. Available payment options
PAYMENTS. Payments are expected within 7 calendar days of receiving your invoice. You will pay us the total purchase price for a lot by credit card (UP TO $5,000), cash (US currency not to exceed $10,000 in a single or multiple related payments), check, or wire transfer, before the property can be removed. Everard Auctions and Appraisals requires payment by wire transfer, check, ACH or cash (up to $10,000) for jewelry, watches and precious metals for all New and/or International buyers. You must quote your invoice number when making a payment. A Convenience Fee of approximately 3% will be applied to all US credit card payments, and non US credit cards approximately 4%. No fee will be levied if payment is made by Wire Transfer, Cash or Check. Please note a flat $15 fee for wire transfers should be included in the amount wired. For all payments made by check, we reserve the right to hold the merchandise for 7 Business days or until cleared or certified funds are provided. The purchaser will be charged $35.00 for each check returned for insufficient funds. Additionally, all payments made after 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% Late Payment Fee which will continue to accrue and compound per each additional 30 day period.
