Description:
Joyce Nagel (MI/SC, b. 1934), Evening Egrets, Pastel, initial signed lower right with artists label and bio on verso, depicting a marsh with egrets, matted and framed. Frame size: 17 1/4 in. x 22 3/4 in.Joyce Nagel was born in Buffalo, NY and she received a bachelors degree in advertising design from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters Degree in printmaking from Wayne State University. Nagel is a Member of Excellence in the Southeastern Pastel Society and a Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America and has received many awards from regional and national pastel societies. Most recently Joyce won Best of Show for her oil at Art League of Hilton Head’s 2015 Biennale Exhibition. (artleaguehhi.org)
