Description:
Japanese Lacquer Drum-Form Picnic Set, Meiji Period, 19th Century, in 11 parts, including a 4 compartment container, a lidded bowl, a sake container with metal spout, a small dish, a 5 1/2 in. octagonal plate, and three 4 7/8 in. circular plates.Measurements: Height: overall 10 1/4 in. x Width: 12 in. x Depth: 6 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, light wear throughout, wear and rubbing to gilt edges, small chips to edges of one round plate, chip to interior rim and loss to bottom edge of top compartment, two small chips to interior rim of bottom compartment, some water stains throughout.
