Jack Leigh was a photographer and Savannah native best known for the photo of the Bird Girl statue on the cover of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. He won numerous awards for his photographs of the American South and published six books of photography. His widely exhibited work can now be found in multiple private and corporate collections, including the University of Georgia. The SCAD Museum of Art exhibited a retrospective of his work in 2014.
