John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851), Townsends Rocky Mountain Hare, Plate III, Bowen Edition, 1842, captioned 'Lepus Townsendii Bach., Townsends Rocky Mountain Hare, Natural Size, Male & Female', lithograph printed and colored by J.T. Bowen, Philadelphia, 1842, and drawn from nature by J. J. Audubon, numbered 'No. 1' and 'Plate III' upper corners, matted and framed. Frame size: 28 7/8 in. x 33 7/8 in.

Measurements: Height: of paper 21 3/4 in. x Width: 28 in.

Condition:

Good condition, some minor foxing, some faint toning to paper, some fading spots in upper quadrant in sky, frame lacking glass.
