Ingrid Nicolai, Ceramic Floral Sculpture, (Canadian, 21st/20th Century) signed, dated '99 and numbered '230' on base, blue base with removable flower stalks (stalks numbered on bases). Ingrid Nicolai's work is inspired by the pure forms of vessels from antiquity and the decorative motifs of ancient Egyptian art. The colors are chosen specifically to emphasize the illusionary aspects of the work, but also to place the pieces into a contemporary context with reference to the Mediterranean Sea.MEASURMENTS: Height: assembled 22 1/4 in. x Width: 37 1/4 in. x Depth: 5 in.
