Description:

Henri-Gabriel Ibels (1867-1936) Le Lever Du Critique, La Bodiniere, France, Theatre Poster, c. 1895, signed lower left, 'imp. Eugene Vwerneau, 108 R. Folie-Mericourt, Paris', depicting a woman whispering to a statue, the poster advertising a French play, unframed. Size of linen 25 3/8 in. x 20 3/8 in.

Measurements: Height: of paper 20 1/4 in. x Width: 17 1/4 in.

Condition:

A-/B+ condition, linen backed, tears along edges, wear to corners, small hole bottom of left edge, toning, particularly along edge, smudge lower right quadrant to left of 'X..' text.
