Herman A. K ahler Art Pottery Tea Service, 49 pcs., comprising fourteen 7 1/4 in. plates (wear and frits to glaze along rims, two with repaired chip to rim, one with small firing blemish on rim), eleven 2 1/2 in. x 4 1/4 in. teacups, thirteen 6 1/4 in. saucers (wear and frits to glaze along rims, rubbing and losses to glaze on inner rims where teacups rest, one with repaired chip to rim, one with chip to rim), a 7 1/2 in. bowl, a 6 1/8 in. square tile, two teapots (both with frits to spouts, one with chip to glaze near top), a 2 1/4 in. x 6 1/2 in. bouillon bowl, a 2 1/4 in. x 7 1/4 in. bouillon bowl (small chip near bottom edge), a cream pitcher, sugar bowl (lacking lid, with chips to edges), a 9 in. plate, a 12 1/4 in. shallow bowl (small frit to rim), and a 12 in. plate with flower design (small chip to rim), all initial signed and some stamped 'Denmark'.Measurements: Height: of largest teapot 4 3/4 in. x Width: 10 in. x Depth: 7 in.
Condition:
