Helen Hatch Inglesby (GA, 1914-1999), Fort Jackson, Savannah, GA, Charcoal on Paper, unsigned, depicting a view of Fort Jackson Savannah, matted and framed. Together with a Old Fort Jackson Postcard with typed information for donations and memberships to the Coastal Heritage Society. Size of Frame: 15 in. x 18 in.

John Duncan purchased remainder of artists works from their estate in 1999.

Savannah native Helen Hatch Inglesby had a long and prolific career as an artist working in a wide variety of media, though she was perhaps best known for her silhouettes. Inglesby studied at the College of William and Mary and at the Telfair Academy. She was devoted to the Savannah art world, exhibiting regularly with the Savannah Art Association and the Society of Georgia Artists, as well as teaching art at various schools in the city. Her work can be found in the permanent collections of the Morris Museum of Art, the Telfair Museum and in private collections.
