Description:
Haggart, Two Works of Venice, Oil on Canvas, comprising 'Grand Canal II' signed lower right and titled on verso, depicting a canal scene with boat and gondolier, unframed (of canvas: 17 7/8 in. x 24 in.); and a canal scene with buildings and a boat with gondolier, signed lower left, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 26 5/8 in. x 22 5/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight of framed work 19 3/8 in. x Width: 15 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, loss in lower right corner and some small loss to paint in upper right corner on unframed work, the framed work with very minor rubbing to canvas on edges near frame, and slightly loose in frame.
