Description:
Group of Transferware Dishes, comprising a pair of covered footed dishes and four 10 1/2 in. bowls, all marked 'Sappho'.Measurements: Height: overall of covered dishes 7 in. x Width: 10 1/2 in. x Depth: 11 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, general minor wear and scratches, craquelure to glaze, wear and frits to glaze on edges of bowls and dishes, some areas of discoloration to white on covered dishes.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
