Description:

Group of English Lusterware, 19th century, 26 pcs., comprising a sugar pot (lacking lid, one handle repaired, interior rim repaired), 5 teacups (two with hairline cracks on rims, one discolored), a handled cup (with hairline crack on bottom), two 5 1/2 in. shallow bowls (one with hairline crack), and a 8 in. shallow bowl, all decorated with a woman and child playing badminton; four 5 5/8 in. dishes with silvered rims and pink transferware central scene with chateau, bridge, and river (two with small hairline cracks on rims); pink transferware teacup with pink luster rim decorated with figures in front of a chateau; teacup and saucer commemorating the death of Princess Charlotte (hairline crack on bottom of teacup); teacup and saucer depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert (with hairline cracks and discoloration on bottom of teapot, and a hairline crack on rim of saucer); 4 in. dish with blue rim depicting a woman seated with a baby (hairline crack and frits to rim); and 6 various pink transferware saucers of similar size and style (one with star-form crack on base).
