Group of 8 Daguerreotypes, comprising a 2 1/8 in. portrait of a girl with bobbed hair in a gilt metal surround stamped 'Cuttings Patent, July 1864' with pink velvet interior and note 'Laura Gunn, 1853-1916, Married Wm. F. Callender 1878' (image in good condition, wear to edges of case, binding of case broken), a 2 1/2 in. standing portrait of a boy in a repousse gilt metal surround with purple velvet case (image with some tarnishing and spotting, binding of case broken, wear to edges of case, some pitting to metal surround), a 2 5/8 in. portrait of a seated girl in a repousse gilt metal surround with green velvet case (image in good condition, wear and cracking to case, pitting and some dents to metal surround, velvet interior very worn, latch and hinges of case bent), a 2 3/4 in. standing portrait of a girl in a gilt metal surround marked 'Broadway, Anson, 589' with red velvet case (image with some tarnishing and spotting, wear to edges of case, pitting to metal surround, wear and minor staining to velvet), a 2 1/2 in. standing portrait of a girl in a repousse gilt metal surround with blue velvet case (image severely tarnished, wear to edges of case, some pitting to metal surround, case latch broken), a 2 3/4 in. portrait of a man with gilt metal surround and pink fabric lined case (image severely tarnished and faded, binding of case broken, wear to case, losses and wear to fabric interior of case), a 2 3/4 in. portrait of a seated man with books in a shaped gilt metal surround with a red velvet case (image tarnished and faded, some pitting to metal surround, binding of case broken, wear to case), and a 2 5/8 in. three-quarters portrait of a man with beard in a repousse gilt metal surround (case missing lid, some spotting to image, wear to case).
