Fine and Decorative Art from Southern Estates and Collections, February 5th-25th. Featuring a rare and important lithograph by John Baldessari titled ‘I Will Not Make Any More Boring Art’, a collection of photographs including Helen Levitt, Lillian Bassman, Danny Lyon and Louis Stettner, works by David Brega, Robert Daughters, Francis Cotes, Charles Levier, William Lumpkin, Alexander Calder, Leroy Neiman, Pablo Picasso and Rolla Sims Taylor, a large pottery jar attributed to Trinidad Gachupino and a David Boxley totem. The public is welcome to attend the preview reception February 17th, 5-7pm.

Description:

Group of 7 Native American Signed Pots, comprising two ceramic canteens, with horsehair and feather straps, each signed on backs (each with scratches to backs and bottom edges, and chip to top rim); a 5 1/2 in. ceramic sculpture, signed Lawrence Namoki, Hopi, titled 'His Offering' (some minor surface scratches); a 2 1/2 in. vase with butterfly and flower, signed 'H. Tofuya, Henderson, Jemez' (some minor surface scratches); a 2 3/4 in. ceramic sculpture/vase with turquoise cabochon, with label 'Glendora Daubs, Jemez' (some minor surface scratches); a 2 1/2 in. vase decorated with wolf, bison, feathers and turquoise cabochons, signed 'Red Starr, Sioux, 925-7' (some minor surface scratches); and a 2 in. vase decorated with racoons, signed 'Paul Naranjo, Santa Clara' (some minor surface scratches).

Measurements: Height: of canteens 9 1/4 in. x Width: 7 1/4 in. x Depth: 3 1/2 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition all with minor wear and surface scratches, canteens with scratches to backs and bottom edges, and chips to top rim.

PAYMENTS. Payments are expected within 7 calendar days of receiving your invoice. You will pay us the total purchase price for a lot by credit card (UP TO $5,000), cash (US currency not to exceed $10,000 in a single or multiple related payments), check, or wire transfer, before the property can be removed. Everard Auctions and Appraisals requires payment by wire transfer, check, ACH or cash (up to $10,000) for jewelry, watches and precious metals for all New and/or International buyers. You must quote your invoice number when making a payment. A Convenience Fee of approximately 3% will be applied to all US credit card payments, and non US credit cards approximately 4%. No fee will be levied if payment is made by Cash or Check. Please note a flat $15 fee for wire transfers should be included in the amount wired. For all payments made by check, we reserve the right to hold the merchandise for 7 Business days or until cleared or certified funds are provided. The purchaser will be charged $35.00 for each check returned for insufficient funds. Additionally, all payments made after 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% Late Payment Fee which will continue to accrue and compound per each additional 30 day period.
