Group of 14 Japanese Lacquer Articles, comprising a hinged black and white box decorated with flowering branches and birds and signature on lower left side of lid (wear and chips to lacquer on edges, rubbing and wear to gilt decoration, large loss to lacquer along left side of lid, age crack to bottom), 6 in. plate signed lower right with metal rim and decorated with gilt treeline (minor central wear and scratches), 9 in. plate with carved face on edge of rim (unmarked, with light wear and scratches), 10 3/4 in. black and gold bowl decorated with flowering branches (unmarked, wear and scratches throughout, small dents along outer rim), small gold and black box with floral design (wear to edges), small gold box marked on underside, decorated with birds (wear and rubbing to gold surface, particularly along edges, chips to lacquer on corners of lid, and chips to one bottom corner of box), an unmarked hinged clam shell form box decorated with cranes (wear to edges, small chips to lacquer along edges of lid, hinge and clasp slightly loose), five small 3 3/4 in. red and black dishes (minor frits to edges), and a red suzuribuko box in a fitted wood case, the box with center divider and signature on underside of lid (good condition, light wear to edges of fitted box).
