Description:

George S. Owens Leather Trunk, 19th Century, the top domed, the sides marked G. S. Owens, Savannah, Ga, opening to a removable tray, the sides mounted with carrying handles. George Savage Owens (Savannah, 1825-1897) was the son of George Welshman Owens (Savannah, 1786-1856) the original owner of the historic Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters in Savannah, GA.

Measurements: Height: 19 in. x Width: 30 1/2 in. x Depth: 17 in.

Condition:

Poor condition, missing straps and handle, surface deteriorating.
