Stengel (CN/NJ/NY/PA, 1872 - 1937), The Village Under the Hill, Carmel, CA, Oil on Board, signed lower left and titled and signed on verso, depicting a landscape with lake and village beneath a hill, with 'Allied Artists of America' and handwritten artist label on verso, in a giltwood frame with artist plaque. Frame size: 15 3/8 in. x 17 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 9 1/2 in. x Width: 11 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, two small losses to paint in green hill in foreground, some surface dust.
