George III Mahogany Library Armchair, c. 1760, the upholstered serpentine backrest and seat flanked by padded armrests on molded supports, raised on chamfered square legs, headed by foliate carved, scrolled brackets and joined by stretchers. Please not that we do not gurantee the condition of upholstery.

Measurements: Height: 38 in. x Width: 27 in. x Depth: depth of seat 21 1/2 in.

Condition:

Stains and wear to silk upholstery, old marks and scratches to legs and arms, arms supports upholstered at a later date, now removed and with filled nail holes, traces of black varnish to legs, a practice often used in Ireland in the 19th century, wood worm to left side rail.
