Frank Clifton Brown (MA, 1883-1969), Still Life of Fruit, Oil on Board, signed lower right, a still life of fruit in a glass compote, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 20 5/8 in. x 18 5/8 in.Frank Clifton Brown was an American artist based in Massachusetts known for his photorealistic still life paintings.
Measurements: Height: by sight, 11 1/2 in. x Width: 9 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, craquelure, inpainting lower right quadrant around grapes, other small areas of inpainting in fruit and tablecloth, some wear to edges of board from frame, light wear to frame.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
