Four Small Boxes and a Candle Snuffer, 18th C and Later, comprising a gilt-metal walnut-form ring box with red velvet base and red silk interior; a c. 1780 tobacco box with repousse crest and engraved monogram on the lid, with hand inscribed note reading 'This tobacco box was made by grandma Schofield's great grandfather and engraved by him, approximately 1780'; a snuff box engraved '1728, I:V' on the inside of the lid; a Japanese black enamel and brass cigarette holder carved with Mount Fuji and birds, marked on one side; and a candle snuffer with horn handle.

Measurements: Length: of candle snuffer 12 in.

Condition:

General wear and scratches to all, snuff and tobacco boxes with pitting to interiors, and dings and wear to edges, cigarette case with wear, scratches and minor pitting, lacking elastics to hold cigarettes in interior; walnut box with wear to fabric base and interior, some pitting; candlesnuffer with pitting to metal, handle slightly bent.
