Florence Dickenson Daffin, Portrait of a Child, Charcoal Drawing, unsigned, with handwritten note 'charcoal drawing by Florence Dickenson Daffin…while a student at Wesleyan in about 1884' on verso, depicting a portrait of a young child with hat and coat, matted and framed. Frame size: 26 1/4 in. x 21 1/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 17 in. x Width: 12 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good restored condition, toning, some restored losses to surface of paper, particularly along left side and in bottom left quadrant, not viewed out of frame.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction.
