Description:

Federal Maple Secretary Bookcase, Probably Connecticut, c. 1800, with swan's neck pediment and finials above arched paneled doors opening to drawers and shelves, the lower section with slant lid opening to an arrangement of pigeonholes and drawers, over four graduated drawers raised on bracket feet, pine secondary wood.

Measurements: Height: 7 ft. 9 in. x Width: 39 in. x Depth: 20 in.

Condition:

Good condition, old marks and scratches, repairs to pediment, repairs and age cracks to batons on slant lid, patch to right side of upper section at rear, repairs to feet.
