Federal Inlaid Mahogany Cylinder Front Secretary Bookcase, c. 1810, with broken swan's neck pediment centering an eagle above an inlaid vase with flowers over glazed doors opening to shelves, the lower section with cylinder front opening to a prospect door flanked by pigeonholes and drawers above a leather writing surface, the lower section with three long drawers on French feet. Secondary wood: poplar and pine.Measurements: Height: 8 ft. 5 in. x Width: 46 1/4 in. x Depth: 21 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good overall condition, prospect door unattached, 2 drawer pulls on interior drawers missing, some old repairs and replacements to glazed doors.
