Federal Inlaid Mahogany Secretaire Sideboard , c. 1810, the rectangular top with breakfronted projecting center section above a secretaire drawer opening to a velvet lined writing surface and drawers and pigeonholes, over a long drawer flanked by short drawers over cupboard doors raised on line inlaid tapering square legs (pine secondary wood).

Measurements: Height: 40 1/2 in. x Width: 51 1/2 in. x Depth: 24 1/4 in.

Condition:

Previously restored and now with later varnish, old marks and scratches to top, with losses to later varnish, dings and dents, chip to front of center section, right front center with burn mark, age cracks to veneers of cupboard doors along lines of construction beneath, now infilled, right cupboard drawer with gauge to top left corner and now with inpainting, age cracks to sides.
