English Faux Tortoiseshell and Gilt Metal Mantle Clock, Late 19th Century, English, late 19th century, marked 'Lambert, Coventry St.' at the base, with Shakespeare quotations on the face, with triple fusee movement and two bells, in a faux tortoiseshell veneered case with gilt metal caryatid form brackets, raised on gilt metal feet. Together with key and winding key.Measurements: Height: 22 in. x Width: 13 in. x Depth: 8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, old marks and scratches, some cracking to veneer, particularly at edges, losses to interior fabric backing on pierced sides and back, minor pitting to metal on face.
