European School, Chamonix Mount Blanc, Oil on Board, 19th Century, depicting figures by a river with wood cabin and snow capped mountains in the background, in a 19th century giltwood frame, the stretcher with pencil inscription 'Chamonix 1866 Mont Blanc', the frame with pencil inscription '3656 Knoedler'. Frame size: 22 1/4 in. x 28 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 12 1/2 in. x Width: 17 3/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, relined, craquelure throughout, with inpainting along edges and in sky above left mountain top.
