Erik Desmazieres is broadly considered one of the greatest contemporary French printmakers. He is an intaglio printmaker of the Art Fantastique school. He has had multiple retrospectives around the world, including at the Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam and solo exhibitions at the Bibliotheque nationale de France in Paris, and the Telfair Museum in Savannah, Georgia.
