Description:
English Rosewood Tea Caddy and Jewelry Box, 19th Century, the pine jewelry box formerly leather covered and now with remnants of leather, opening to a leather letter holder and silk lined interior, above a drawer, mounted on the sides with carrying handles and raised on gilt-metal animal paw feet. Together with a sarcophagus form tea caddy, the lid opening to lidded compartments centering a later glass insert, raised on later flattened ball feet.Measurements: Height: of jewelry box 7 in. x Width: 14 in. x Depth: 10 in.
Condition:
Both in good condition, with old marks and scratches, the jewelry box with patches to the top and with remnants of original leather covering.
