English Porcelain Blue Bordered Dessert Service, Probably Ridgway, c. 1825, comprising 18 dessert plates (8 1/2 in., rubbing and losses to gilt, particularly in center border, one with chip to rim), three oval serving dishes with scalloped handles (one with large hairline crack), two shell-form dishes, one small round plate, three square serving bowls, two lidded tureens (one with star-form crack with associated chips on side), a oval footed centerpiece bowl, all unmarked; together with a Nymphenburg compote with pierced rim (with blue mark).
Measurements: Height: of oval centerpiece bowl 5 3/4 in. x Width: 11 5/8 in. x Depth: 9 in.
Condition:
Overall used condition, general wear, scratches, minor craquelure, rubbing and losses to gilt, some losses to hand painted flowers in centers, some with old labels on underside, see description for details.
