Rare Eli Terry and Sons Pillar and Scroll 30 Hr Alarm Shelf Clock, c. 1820, E. Terry & Sons alarm pillar and scroll 30-hour mahogany shelf clock with eglomise panel and brass finials with instructions to operate alarm on the interior and David Stockwell, Wilmington, DE label and presumed partial bill of sale as well as Ayer sale label. Together with pendulum, two weights, and key. Provenance: David Stockwell, 1977; Ayer sale 1929 #326.Measurements: Height: overall 31 1/4 in. x Width: 16 3/8 in. x Depth: 4 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, old marks and scratches, patches to veneer on door and cornice, some minor age cracks to wood, columns on sides slightly loose, some pitting and dents to brass finials.
