Description:

David Delong (NJ/GA, 1930-2001), Untitled (Three Seated Figures), Pen and Sepia Wash, 1965, unsigned, matted and framed. Frame size: 27 3/4 in. x 42 in.

David Delong studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1951/1958 and received a B.S. degree in painting from NYU in 1970. He once stated 'Realism has always presented a greater challenge to me than abstraction. To give life to life is very hard. You can copy it, or distort it. To make it live, whether it be a tree or a human figure is very difficult.'

Measurements: Height: by sight 20 in. x Width: 24 in.

Condition:

Good condition, some creasing to paper at top edge, not viewed out of frame.
