Description:

Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest, c. 1770, Possibly Pennsylvania, with concave cornice above five short drawers over four long gradated drawers and raised on bracket feet.

Measurements: Height: 65 in. x Width: 44 1/2 in. x Depth: 22 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, age crack at back left corner of cornice, replaced edge to back section of molded cornice, age crack to front corner, 3 in. loss to molding of back right corner of cornice, top center drawer with small replaced triangular corner to top right molding, top long drawer with 2 in. loss to top right corner of molding, third long drawer with 4 1/4 in. loss to top edge molding and triangular patch at top right corner, bottom drawer with losses to edge molding and repairs and replacements to bottom edge molding, feet with repaired breaks, left side of case with age crack at bottom right corner, old marks and scratches.
