Property from the Estate of a Former General Electric International Executive, Hilton Head Island, SC
Description:
Chinese Huanghuali and Hardwood Low Table, Kanji, Qing Dynasty, 17th Century, with dragon carved apron on incurved legs, the central panel another Chinese hardwood. Provenance: Schoeni Fine Oriental Art, 8 Staunton Street, Hong Kong, May 26th, 1990, paid HK $58,000. This item appears on a Sotheby's 1997 insurance appraisal valued at $8,000.
Measurements: Height: 11 in. x Width: 35 in. x Depth: 23 3/8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, one end with water stain, one long side with splice into huanghuali edge, some age cracks, minor filled separations at joints, some repairs to tops of legs, old marks, scratches and stains.
