Description:

Charles Western (British, Fl. 1844-1900), Canal Scene, Watercolor on Paper, signed lower left with partial label on back, depicting a canal with boat and small town, matted and framed. Frame size: 15 1/2 in. x 21 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight 8 1/2 in. x Width: 14 in.

Condition:

Fair condition, some foxing, particularly in sky, mark along right edge in upper right quadrant, stain with overpainting in upper left quadrant of sky, wear to frame.
