Charles Smith (1768-1808), Plan of the Siege of Savannah, Hand Colored Engraving, engraved battle plan of the Siege of Savannah in 1779, printed by C. Smith New York, and engraved by Charles Balthazar Julien Fevre de Saint-Memin, from Smith's 'Monthly Military Repository', with copy of a pages from 'Maps and Charts Published in America Before 1800: A Bibliography', 'Maps of America in Periodicals Before 1800', and 'Library of Congress: A List of Maps of America' all referencing this plan attached to verso, matted and framed. Frame size: 14 3/8 in. x 15 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 8 5/8 in. x Width: 9 3/8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, two vertical creases, edges trimmed and restored, tear lower right corner and along bottom right edge.
